Centrally located in the city of Ilulissat and privileged with a spellbinding view of the Icefjord from its rooms and public spaces, Hotel Hvide Falk currently has 37 nicely furnished rooms, half of which enjoy great views out of the bay, as well as 9 apartments by the water, a restaurant, and bar.

Our staff in Ilulissat has lived there for many years, if not all of their lives. Their and our passion for Greenland is all encompassing and reflected in everything we do here.

Acquired by the Albatros Group at the beginning of 2018, Hotel Hvide Falk’s purpose of providing a comfortable stay and reflecting an authentic Greenlandic experience extends to its services and knowledge of the area, by offering sled tours during the winter season, and sailing trips to the icefjord, the Ilimanaq village and Oqaatsut during the summer.

The restaurant is on the ground floor off the lobby. It is a large room with huge windows on two sides, the better to enjoy spectacular nature around you. We use locally caught fish, meat, berries and what the Greenlandic nature else can provide us with. We have a large selection of wines, local beers, and drinks for you to enjoy during your meal, in our cozy loungebar or on the terrace under the midnight sun during summer.

From the 23rd of October 2023 to the 10th of February 2024 we will be renovating 19 hotel rooms at the top floor of the hotel. The rest of the building will be open as usual.
